Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 1404

DTC 1404:

Audio Error 4 (DVD Error)

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when there is a problem with the DVD player.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.

1. Clear the hard error code.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.

3. Check for the hard error code.

Is DTC 1404 indicated?

YES -

Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
