Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2607

NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when a problem (open or short) is detected in the GA-Net BUS.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.
1. Clear the hard error code.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.
3. Check for the hard error code.
Is DTC 2601 indicated?
YES -
Do the DTC 2601 troubleshooting.
NO -
Go to step 4.
4. Go into the System Diagnostic Mode, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu.
5. Check the System Link.
Is the XM (HIP) icon red?
YES -
Go to step 6.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
7. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at these items:
- Audio-navigation unit connector C (14P)
- AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P) and B (2P)
Are the connections OK?
YES -
Go to step 8.
NO -
Repair poor connections or loose terminals.
8. Disconnect these items:
- Audio-navigation unit connector C (14P)
- AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P)
9. Connect AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P) terminals No. 30 and No. 31 with a jumper wire.
10. Check for continuity between audio-navigation unit connector C (14P) terminals No. 9 and No. 10.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Replace the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) AcuraLink Control Unit (XM Receiver) Removal/Installation.
NO -
There is an open in the wire(s) between the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the audio-navigation unit. Replace the affected shielded harness.
