Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2611

DTC 2611:

HDD Diag

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when there is a problem with the HDD.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.

1. Check that the passenger compartment temperature is between-4 °F (-20 °C) and 158 °F (70 °C).

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.

3. Go into the System Diagnostic Mode, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis items menu.

4. Select the HDD in the System Link.

Is HDD OK indicated?

YES -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

NO -

Go to step 5.

5. Check the HDD diagnosis.

Is the Low Temp indicated?

YES -

Replace the HDD HDD Removal / Installation, and recheck. If the vehicle repeatedly comes back with the navigation DTC, replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation.

NO -

Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation.
