NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when a NG is indicated in the XM (HIP) diagnosis.
- Check for, and resolve any B-CAN DTCs before doing this troubleshooting.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.

1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.

2. Go into the System Diagnostic Mode, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu Navigation System Diagnostic Mode.

3. Check the System Link.

Is the XM (HIP) icon red?

YES -

Do the AcuraLink Self-Diagnostic Function AcuraLink Self-Diagnostic Function.

NO -

Do the DTC 1801 troubleshooting 1801.
