DTC 1402:

Audio Error 2

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when the audio-navigation unit detects a mechanical malfunction in the CD/DVD player.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.

1. Clear the hard error code.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.

3. Check for the hard error code.

Is DTC 1402 indicated?

YES -

Check if the audio system functions are working properly. If any problems are found, go to affected troubleshooting.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
