Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- The driver's seat is shown; the passenger's seat is similar.
1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal / Installation.
2. Remove the front seat recline cover Front Seat Recline Cover Removal / Installation.
3. From under the seat cushion, release the hooks (A) on the elastic straps from the seat cushion frame springs (B), then pull out the back panel undercover (C).
4. From under the seat cushion, disconnect the seat cushion heater connector (A). Detach the connector clip (B) and the harness clip (C), and release the harness holder (D) from the seat cushion frame springs (E).

5. Driver's seat: Disconnect the connectors (A), and remove the bolts, then remove the power seat control unit (B).
6. Release the hook strips (A) from under the seat cushion.
7. With seat ventilation: Release the tie (A). Release the hooks (B), then separate the front seat cushion blower bag (C) from the front seat cushion blower (D).
8. Release the hook strips (A) from both sides of the seat cushion frame.
9. Remove the seat cushion cover/pad (A) from the seat frame (B).
10. Release the hook strips (A) fastening the seat cushion cover (B) on the seat cushion pad.
11. Pull back the edge of the seat cushion cover (A) all the way around, and release the clips (B), then remove the seat cushion cover.
12. Install the cushion cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat cushion cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the clips, the hooks, and the hook strips.
- Replace any clips (A) you removed with new ones.
- Push the clips, the hooks, and the hook strips into place securely.
