Rear Seat-Back Cover Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.

1. Remove the seat-back Rear Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Release all the upholstery rings (A), then remove the insulators (B).





3. Remove the armrest Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.

4. Release the hook strips (A) and the Velcro fasteners (B).






5. Remove the screw, then remove the center belt guide (A).






6. Pinch the tabs on the ends of the head restraint guides (A), and remove them from the seat-back.






7. Separate the seat-back cover/pads (A) and the seat-back frame (B).






8. Pull back the edge of the seat-back cover all the way around, and release the upholstery rings (A) and Velcro fastener (B), then remove the seat-back cover (C). The left seat-back cover is shown; the right seat-back cover is similar.






9. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat-back cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the upholstery rings and the hook strips.
- Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
