EPS DTC Troubleshooting: 31-01

DTC 31-01:

Torque Sensor Neutral Position Not Written

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

4. Do the memorizing of the torque sensor neutral position Testing and Inspection.

5. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 31-01 indicated?

YES -

Replace the steering gearbox (torque sensor) Service and Repair.

NO -

The system is OK at this time.
