Engine does not crank

Check for loose battery terminals or connections.

Test the battery for a low state of charge Battery Test.

Check the starter Component Tests and General Diagnostics.

Check the starter cut relay Testing and Inspection.

Check the transmission range switch (A/T) Testing and Inspection.

Check the clutch interlock switch (M/T) Clutch Interlock Switch Test.

Check the ignition switch and its related circuits Ignition Switch Test.

Also check for

Poor ground at G101 (A/T) or G302 (M/T)

Also check for

Seized engine
