DTC Troubleshooting: B11C7
DTC B11C7:
Passenger's MICU IG1 Line Input Error
NOTE:
- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
- Before troubleshooting, make sure the No. 12 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box is OK.
1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then the ON mode.
3. Wait for at least 6 seconds.
4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B11C7 indicated?
YES -
Go to step 5.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections. If the connections are good, check the battery condition Battery Test and the charging system.
5. Check the DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B11C7 indicated with DTC U1282?
YES -
Go to DTC U1282 troubleshooting U1282.
NO -
Go to step 6.
6. Measure the voltage between the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box connector A (38P) terminal No. 35 and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES -
Faulty passenger's MICU; replace the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box Passengers Under-dash Fuse/Relay Box (Passengers MICU) Removal and Installation.
NO -
Repair an open or high resistance in the wire between the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box and the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.
