DTC Troubleshooting: B12D0, B12D1, B12D2, B12D3

DTC B12D0:

Power Control Unit IG1A Circuit Error

DTC B12D1:

Power Control Unit IG1B Circuit Error

DTC B12D2:

Power Control Unit IG2 Circuit Error

DTC B12D3:

Power Control Unit IG Latch Circuit Error

NOTE:

- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
- Make sure aftermarket accessories are not installed.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

2. Do this procedure 5 times:

- Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode
- Wait 10 seconds
- Select the ACC mode
- Wait 10 seconds
- Select the ON mode
- Wait 10 seconds before repeating this procedure

3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTCs B12D0, B12D1, B12D2, and/or B12D3 indicated?

YES -

Replace the power control unit.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
