DTC B18A5:

Left BSI Radar Unit Temperature High

NOTE: It is usually difficult to duplicate this DTC.

1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B18A5 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.

2. Check the exhaust system and heat shields for modifications or damage.

Are all parts OK?

YES -

Intermittent failure due to temporary high temperature around the left BSI radar unit, the system is OK at this time.

NO -

Repair or replace the faulty part.
