Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) DTC Troubleshooting: 110

DTC 110:

Lost Communication With the PCM (PGM-FI System)

1. Check the MIL on the gauge control module Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Does the MIL stay on?

YES -

Go to the PGM-FI system's general troubleshooting information Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

NO -

Go to step 2.

2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

3. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.

4. Press the MAIN switch ON.

5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 110 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 6.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.

6. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

7. Disconnect the ACC unit 20P connector.

8. Jump the SCS line with the HDS, then disconnect PCM connector A (49P) Service and Repair.

9. Check for continuity between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No. 10 and PCM connector A (49P) terminal No. 48.





Is there continuity?

YES -

Go to step 10.

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN A line (F-CAN A H).

10. Check for continuity between ACC unit 20P connector terminal No. 20 and PCM connector A (49P) terminal No. 49.





Is there continuity?

YES -

Replace the PCM Service and Repair.

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN A line (F-CAN A L).
