Rear Seat-Back Cover Replacement
Special Tools Required
- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
- Trim Pad Remover Snap-on A 177A or equivalent, commercially available

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- The left seat-back is shown; the right seat-back is similar.
1. Remove the armrest Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.
2. Remove the seat-back.
3. Remove all of the head restraints.
4. Left seat-back: Remove the screws, and pull up the center belt guide (A) to release the hook (B), then remove it.
5. Pry up the cap (A), and remove the screw. Release the hooks (B), then remove the latch knob trim (C).
6. Release the hooks (A), then remove the tether anchor cover (B).
7. Detach the clips (A) securing the latch cover (B), and pull out the cover to detach the clips (C).
8. Detach the clips (A, B) along the back cover (C).

9. Turn over the seat-back cover (A) to release the Velcro fastener(s) (B) and the hook strips (C).

10. Turn over the seat-back cover (A) to release the Velcro fastener(s) (B) and the hook strips (C). Detach the clips.

11. Left seat-back: Pinch the tabs on the ends of the center head restraint guides (A), and remove them from the seat-back.
12. Left seat-back: Pull the armrest panel (A) to detach the clips and release the hook strips (B).
13. Left seat-back: Detach the clip and release the hook strips (A).
14. Remove the seat-back cover/pad (A) from the seat-back frame (B).
1. Pass through the pivot shaft (C) to the cover hole (D).
2. Pull up the seat-back frame, then remove the head restraint guides (E) while pinching the tabs on the ends of the guides.

15. Pull back the edge of the seat-back cover (A) all the way around, and release the upholstery rings (B), then remove the seat-back cover.

16. Install the seat-back cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- To prevent wrinkles when installing the seat-back cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the upholstery rings and the hook strips.
- Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
