Braking Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

Brake Pedal Position Switch Test

1. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the brake pedal position switch (B).






2. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





3. If the test results are not as specified, do the Brake Pedal and Brake Pedal Position Switch Adjustment Adjustments, then recheck. If the results are still not as specified, replace the switch Service and Repair.
