ACC Indicator Does Not Come On




Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Symptom Troubleshooting - ACC indicator does not come on

ACC indicator does not come on

1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.

2. Watch the following indicators in the gauge control module:

- MIL
- Brake system light
- Charging light

Do the indicators come on?

YES -

Go to the gauge control module self-diagnostic function Testing and Inspection.

NO -

Go to step 3.

3. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

4. Check the No. 12 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.

Is the fuse OK?

YES -

Go to step 5.

NO -

Check for a short in the wire between the No. 12 (7.5 A) fuse socket and the gauge control module. If OK, replace the fuse.

5. Disconnect the gauge control module connector A (32P).

6. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

7. Measure the voltage between the gauge control module connector A (32P) terminal No. 15 and body ground.





Is there battery voltage?

YES -

Substitute a known-good gauge control module and recheck. If the problem goes away, replace the original gauge control module Service and Repair.

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the No. 12 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the gauge control module. If OK, replace the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.
