Please note the following changes to adhesive hardening times for bonded window glass.
Sedan/Wagon
Vehicle must stand at least three hours (previously one), at room temperature of 20~C (68~F) and relative humidity of 65-70% before allowing vehicle to be driven.
Keeping sealed/bonded area wet will promote hardening process.
Sedan
Adjustment wedges may not be removed before three hours.
Wagon
Vehicle may be driven after three hours (previously four) if rear glass is taped.
Work procedure
- tape rear window all around to body/lid with textile (cloth) reinforced adhesive tape
^ tape should be at least 40 mm (1.57 in) wide
- remove tape after 12 hours
