Fuel pump relay signal
Work sequence





- Pull fuel pump relay from relay panel, location number 10
- Connect voltmeter between terminals 46 and 47 of relay panel sockets
- Briefly actuate starter
^ Specification: approx. 9.5 V

If specification OK
- Check fuel pump relay and fuel pump.

If specification NOT OK
- Connect voltmeter between terminal 46 relay panel socket and ground
- Switch ignition ON
^ Specification: approx. 12 V

If specification NOT OK
- Check for open circuit in wiring according to current flow diagram

If specification OK
- Check wiring between control unit and relay panel as follows
- Remove control unit cover located in footwell on passenger side of vehicle
- Unplug control unit connector








- Using ohmmeter, check for continuity across following terminals:
^ Connector (A) terminal 21 and relay mount (10) terminal 47
^ Specification: approx 0 ohm

If specification NOT OK
- Check for open circuit in wiring according to current flow diagram

If wiring OK
- Replace control unit
