- measure resistance with Ohmmeter
^ float up = infinity Ohm
^ float down = 0 Ohm if not, replace sending unit

^ up to 120~C (248~F) = infinity Ohm
^ above 120~C (248~F) = 0 Ohm

- remove washer tank
- measure resistance on sending unit with Ohmmeter
^ tank filled = infinity Ohm
^ tank empty = 0 Ohm if not, replace washer tank

- disconnect wire on warning switch
- press brake pedal about 20 times, engine not running
- measure resistance with Ohmmeter
^ 0 Ohm
- start engine, let idle for about 1 minute
- measure resistance with Ohmmeter
^ infinity Ohm
