Subject: Sunroof - Binding
Cause:

Dust/dirt in combination with grease interfere with moveable parts of sunroof.

Production Change:

No change.

Service Solution:

Clean and spray moveable parts of sunroof and guide rails with silicone spray, P/N D 007 000 04. Also, perform every 15,000 miles per maintenance schedule.

NOTE: Sunroof motor should be replaced only after assuring proper function of other components, including application of silicone spray.
