Thermo Time Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the harness plug from the thermoswitch, and measure the resistance between the terminals of the switch.
2. Resistance should be;
0 ohms (continuity) @ below 20°C (68°F)
Infinite ohms (open) @ above 40°C (104°F)
3. If resistance is not within specification, replace the thermoswitch.
4. If resistance is OK, check wiring between thermoswitch and control unit.
