Channel 13 - Ambient Temperature Switch

The ambient temperature switch mounted on the evaporator sends an open or closed (ground) signal to the control panel head depending on the outside temperature. This signal is used to permit the activation of the A/C compressor clutch.

To activate the display:





- If necessary, press the OFF button while pressing the OUTSIDE TEMP button.
- Press the WARMER button until '13 is displayed.
- Press the COOLER button to display the ambient switch position.

^ 00 = switch open
^ 01 = switch closed

The switch should be closed when ambient temperature is above 38°F (3°C).
