Power and Ground Distribution: Description and Operation

Circuit Description
Main power for the car's electrical system is supplied to the fuse/relay panel directly from the positive (+) battery cable. The main ground connection for the fuse/relay panel is a bolted connection to chassis ground behind the left side of the instrument panel.

All wires and components connected to chassis ground connect to battery ground via the negative (-) battery cable connected to the metal battery box.

Both the starter and the alternator are wired directly to the battery without fuse protection.
