Windows: Description and Operation

Circuit Description
Power for the windows is supplied by the power window circuit breaker (thermofuse) located on the auxiliary relay panel. The circuit breaker/thermofuse resets itself automatically after the circuit overload has been corrected.

The circuit breaker supplies power to the power window/sunroof control unit which in turn powers each window switch and window motor.

The circuit is active whenever the ignition is "On" or with the ignition "Off" and the driver's door closed Polarity to the window motors is alternated via each window switch.
