WITH POWERTRAIN PLUS PROTECTION


This circular supersedes Service Circular, Warranty, A-90-14, dated November 5, 1990.

As of October 15, 1991, the Audi Used Car Advantage Limited Warranty of 1 year or 12,000 miles is augmented to include a Powertrain Plus Protection Limited Warranty for an additional year or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The Audi Used Car Advantage Limited Warranty with Powertrain Plus Protection is not a service contract and may not be sold as a separate option to the purchaser, but must be included in the retail price of the used vehicle to which it applies.

DEALER ELIGIBILITY

To participate in the new Audi Used Car Advantage Limited Warranty with Powertrain Plus Protection, an authorized dealer must:

^ register with Audi of America, Inc. (Audi) and be accepted as a participating dealer,
^ ensure that all vehicle technical and safety inspections as outlined in the Vehicle Inspection and Condition Report will be performed by a fully trained Registered Audi Technician,
^ ensure that all eligible vehicles will be reconditioned to first class salable condition, at the dealer's expense, by a fully trained Registered Audi Technician,
^ ensure that all Audi minimum requirement tools and equipment are available and, where necessary, used during reconditioning,
^ receive Zone concurrence, as required.

VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY

To qualify for this warranty, all eligible pre-owned Audi vehicles must:

^ be no older than the current or previous five model years (from 1987 MY Audi vehicles). Registration Requests for 1986 model year vehicles will be accepted for enrollment consideration until November 15, 1991,
^ no longer be covered by the Audi Pre-Owned Limited or Audi Used Car Advantage Warranties,
^ not have more than six months of the Limited New Vehicle Warranty coverage remaining,
^ not be covered by a mechanical repair contract,
^ have less than 75,000 miles at time of registration,
^ meet inspection and reconditioning requirements of the program.
