Starting the Warranty
Upon the retail sale of the registered vehicle, the dealer is required to detach the Warranty Enrollment Certificate from the Warranty Booklet, fill it out completely, and mail it to the Audi Warranty Processing Center in Michigan.
The Warranty Enrollment Certificate must contain the following information:
^ Customer Name and Address
^ Date of Purchase (Warranty Start Date)
The dealer must also fill in the date of purchase (Warranty Start Date) on the Warranty Voucher and stamp the voucher with an authorized Dealer stamp. The date of purchase appearing on the voucher and on the Warranty Enrollment Certificate must be identical.
If the vehicle is still covered by the Limited New Vehicle Warranty, the warranty start date entered on the voucher is the date the Limited New Vehicle Warranty is scheduled to expire.
At the time of sale, the retail customer must receive the completed Audi Used Car Advantage Limited Warranty with Powertrain Plus Protection Warranty Booklet.
