Cause:
Electric fuel pump noisy.

Improved bracket for mounting of electric fuel pump.

Service:
1) Check gasoline quality in vehicle for the following:

A) High Alcohol content

B) Volatility


2) Check fuel in gas tank for any fuel contamination caused by outside influences.

3) Check fuel pump operation repair manual, Repair Group 20.





4) Remove fuel pump and bracket as an assembly and replace the following parts:

Fuel pump bracket 893906109C

(2) Bushings 893201339

(2) Spacers 893201335

(2) Washers 043119331

Note:
Make sure to use the two washers noted when securing pump assembly to vehicle.
