Door Glass
Modifying front door window glass mounting to prevent rattle
^ remove door trim
^ remove door component carrier
^ remove reinforcement bar
^ install guide pin cap A (beige colored), P/N 893 845 471C at A-pillar, as shown
^ check that guide pin cap B (gray colored), P/N 893 845 471 D was installed at B-pillar, as shown
^ glue on felt stop C (P/N 893 839 491 Left, P/N 893 839 492 Right), as shown, with adhesive D 001 300 or equivalent to window track at A-pillar
Note
Felt side of strip C must face glass. Tapered end points upward
^ install rubber buffer, P/N 443 877 665C 110 mm (4.3 in.) from rear mounting end of reinforcement bar
^ buffer faces glass
^ using hack saw, cut 6.5 mm (7.64 in.) from both spacers, as shown
^ reinstall all door components in reverse order of removal
