Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)

1989 Audi models with CIS-MOTRONIC engine control system do not have "output check" capability. Self diagnostic functions are limited to storing and displaying fault codes. Attempting to initiate output checks, as on other models, will simply re-start fault memory display.
