Cause:
Spark plug fouling due to numerous starts during assembly and transportation before delivery to customer.

Production:
Change factory added fuel additive from "G-15" additive to Kerokorr which has anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation characteristics.

Service:
Replace fouled spark plugs as necessary. Return all spark plugs replaced after above VINs to Corporate Service Center, Madison Heights, for evaluation, along with proper warranty parts tag.

Canadian dealers return fouled spark plugs to VW-Canada, Toronto, Attention: Service Department.
