Condition:

1) Plug connection from cable harness on multi function switch not properly installed. Multi function switch corroded because of poor connection.

2) Software for transmission not sufficient.

3) After self-diagnosis performed in the workshop, the system was not brought back to the basic setting.


Production:

1) Improved inspection of plug connection on multi function switch.

Service:

1) Check fault codes with V.A.G. 1551, replace switch if fault "multi function switch defective" appears.

2) Replace transmission control unit
