Cause: Excessive resistance in ignition wire connectors may cause connections to overheat and decay distributor cap. only terminals supplied by vendor "Beru" effected.


Production: A. Improved wire connectors introduced (SOP M.Y. 1989)

B. Improved connectors from vendor Beru can be recognized by a "bump" on the rubber cover of the connector. (See illustration below)
