Removal and Installation

Remove suspension struts from one side of vehicle at a time to prevent stretching and subsequent damaging of brake hoses.
1. Remove luggage compartment trim and cover plate.
2. Unscrew nut from piston rod, holding rod up with tool 3079, or equivalent.
3. Raise and support vehicle, then remove lower strut bolt.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten top nut and lower strut bolt to specifications.
