Condition

Wind noise from the door seal around the outside rear view mirror.

Service

- Lower window completely.

- Obtain round seal P/N 035 121 043

CAUTION
Part numbers are for reference only. Always check with the parts department for the latest information.

- Measure and cut off 100 mm (3.95 in.) of this seal.





- Insert the 100 mm section of the seal into the cavity of the outer window seal -C- at location -B- using silicone spray and a small screwdriver.

^ This will increase the tension of the seal against the outer surface of door glass -D-

Note
The outside rear view mirror does not have to be removed for this repair.

CAUTION
This repair does not completely eliminate wind noise but can minimize it to more acceptable levels.
