Unfavorable location of welding spots inside of rear lid at area above the hinge mounting. Welding spots cracking, paint damaged. Cracking does not extend over a certain time period.

Clean paint surface at affected area (picture) and apply foil P/N AKL 448 300 04 (Diameter 15 mm) to left/right welding spots.


Note:

To prevent corrosion, protect welding spots on every 80/90 Quattro vehicle coming in for service.
