Cause:
Valve cover retaining nuts loosen.

Seirvice Solution:
Retorque valve cover retaining nuts:
^ cut tie wraps and remove left/right engine intake air ducts
^ remove bolts 1 from air filter housing assembly
^ remove ignition cable covers from center of each valve cover
Note
DO NOT remove valve covers. To minimize oil leakage and damage to valve cover gasket, remove and perform repair to only one retaining nut or stud at a time, and in the sequence shown.
^ remove valve cover retaining nut, stud
^ clean off valve cover retaining studs with solvent
^ threaded area
CAUTION
Part numbers are for reference only. Always check with your Parts Department for latest information.
^ apply Loctite 242, Part No. D 000 600 to threaded area of stud (arrow)
^ reinstall valve cover retaining nut
^ 9 + 1 N-m (7 ft.lb.)
^ clean off any excess oil residue from engine and valve cover area
^ reinstall ignition cable covers
^ reinstall air filter housing assembly
^ reinstall intake air ducts using new tie wrap, Part No. N 020 906.3
