Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming: Service and Repair

Caution! Do not expose airbag units to temperatures above 212°F for even brief periods while handling them during a repair process. Keep unit clear of all heat sources.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and cover negative terminal during all work on airbag system.
2. Disconnect RED voltage supply connector marked "Airbag", located behind lefthand side of center console.
