Expansion Block/Orifice Tube: Service and Repair

A/C Refrigerant Restrictor:

REMOVAL
- Discharge refrigerant system.
- Remove A/C refrigerant line connection to evaporator.
- Pull restrictor from evaporator with needle nose pliers.

INSTALLATION
- Install restrictor with new O-ring.
- Install A/C refrigerant line connection to evaporator.

A/C Refrigerant Lines To Evaporator:

- Be sure there is no tension on refrigerant lines before tightening.
- Torque refrigerant lines to 16 Nm (12.0 ft lb).
- Recharge refrigerant system.
