Remanufactured brake rotors replace update kit as remedy for brake shimmy complaints

This Technical Bulletin supersedes Technical Bulletin, Group 46, No.92-10, dated 2/20/92

For complaints of brake shimmy on the Audi V8 Quattro or 200 Quattro 20V, install remanufactured brake rotors, Part No.441 615 283 RX. Installation of these rotors does not require DSOM authorization.

The brake update kits previously used to remedy brake shimmy complaints on these models will no longer be available.

If brake shimmy is not a complaint but brake rotors are required, the current standard replacement rotors, Part No. 441 615 283 R must be used until inventory of these rotors is depleted.
