CD changer components, removing/installing

CD changer unit, removing/installing

^ disconnect eight-point DIN cable connection from rear of CD changer
^ remove CD changer mounting screws (arrows)
^ slide CD changer unit off trunk support bracket


^ install in reverse order of removal
^ ensure brackets on CD changer unit properly engage trunk support bracket

CD changer controller, removing/installing

^ obtain radio security code
^ disconnect battery ground strap
^ remove passenger footwell light and cover
^ remove passenger side lower instrument panel cover

Note

The frequency and loudness switches on the CD changer controller can be changed without lowering the air duct or removing the controller.





^ remove air duct securing screws and carefully lower air duct
^ remove all cable and wire connections from CD changer controller
^ remove mounting screws from air duct (arrows)
^ remove CD changer controller


^ install in reverse order of removal
