Test conditions

^ battery OK
^ fuses 4, 18, 19, 43 (under rear seat) OK
^ rear seat removed for access to electrical connectors/control unit
^ control unit V 94 removed from insulation
^ remove battery for access

Tools required





^ multimeter Fluke 83 (US 1119)





^ Test box VAG 1598 with harness adaptor 1598/11

1 - control unit V 94
2 - 12-point plug for control signal connections
3 - 6-point plug for power supply
4 - 16-point plug for control signal connections
5 - 20-point plug connector - not used
6 - pressure/vacuum line
