[3] SOHC 12-valve (2 valves per cyl.), 172 HP.
[4] MPI MMS versions 100 and 200 with OBD. System uses single control unit for both fuel and ignition control. Both versions use a CO% potentiometer on the Mass Air Flow Meter. MMS 100 uses ECM # 4a0 906 266A and MMS 200 uses ECM # 4A0 906 266AA, # 4A0 906 266AB, or # 8A0 906 266A.
[5] Fuel System uses 4-hole single-spray solenoid-type injectors, dual oxygen sensor feedback, start and idle speed control, after start and acceleration enrichment, deceleration fuel shut-off.
