Remote Trunk Release Configurations

Two remote trunk release configurations are used for all 100 sedan models 1992 my.
The first configuration operates with the ignition/starter switch in either the ON or OFF position.
The second configuration operates only with the ignition/starter switch in the ON position.
No repairs are necessary as long as the trunk release operates when the ignition/starter switch is in the ON position. Do not attempt to repair a trunk release that also operates with the switch in the OFF position.
The color of the trunk release button is of no significance.
