Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

- Switches coolant fan -V7- to 2nd speed operation
- Switch closes (2nd speed ON): 13.1 - 17.5 bar (190 - 254 psi)
- Switch opens (2nd speed OFF): 10.6 - 15.0 bar (154 - 217 psi)
- Opening and closing switching points must be at least 2 bar (29 psi) difference
- Switch identification: green housing with bonded wire connections
- Located on left side of condenser

Removing and installing
- Remove electrical connector and remove high pressure switch.
Refrigerant system remains closed (valve under switch)
- Install new O-ring -A- (9.3 mm x 1.8 mm).
Tightening torque: 5 Nm (44 in lb)
