When checking shift points, note that the speedometer reading may be at the upper or lower end of the permissible tolerance range.

Use the VAG 1551 Scan Tool to read the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Memory. See the Repair Manual or "Troubleshooting Using VAG Diagnostic Testers".

Note
On vehicles with the Dynamic Shift Program, a full throttle test is not possible.
