Model(s): All V8, 80/90 and 100/200 Models M.Y. from 1989


This Technical Bulletin supersedes all previously published repair information concerning IP bulb replacement.





Repairs to V8 IPs are not authorized at the present time, but bulb replacement may be carried out observing the following precautions.

^ Wear a wrist ground strap.
^ Handle circuit board as little-as possible.
^ Replace bulbs with like wattages except for white based bulb.
^ Avoid static generating environment (i.e. plastic seatcovers, wool seatcovers, etc.).


Part numbers may be found in the 100/200 parts FICHE. The following list should assist in IP bulb replacement, but consult the parts fiche for the latest information.

White based illumination bulbs are superseded by black based 1.2w clear bulbs.
