1992 Model Change Information

This booklet describes in detail the major product changes that will take place on the 1992 Audi models. Changes such as, a revised 4.2 liter V8 engine with Motronic Engine Management system, passenger side air bag and the new front brakes for the Audi V8. This booklet also includes information on the new Audi S4. an overview of the new HP-1 8 four speed automatic transmission and the new 01E five speed manual transmission with a dual mass flywheel.

Motronic Engine Management System for the Audi S4 and the 4.2 liter Audi V8

This booklet describes and explains the new revised Motronic Engine Management System used on the Audi S4 and Audi VB. Component location and system operation are described in detail. Also covered is a brief description of using the V.A.G 1551 and Self-diagnostic features of this system.

The shipped quantity of 2,5,10 and 15 of each booklet is based on dealer size or the quantity that you have selected.

Both programs will be shipped together as one package the week of April 6th, 1992. Please inform your Zone Service Department by March 20th, 1992 if you do not wish to receive this shipment.
