Center Differential Output (Flanged) Shaft Replacement

NOTE: Transmission installed

- Remove driveshaft, refer to Replacement. Service and Repair





- Remove mounting screw for flanged shaft (arrow).
To loosen the mounting screw, screw two bolts in the flanged shaft and counter-hold with assembly lever.
- Place oil drip tray below transmission.
- Remove flanged shaft.





- Pry out oil seal for flanged shaft with assembly lever.
- Pack space between sealing lips of new oil seal with multipurpose grease.





- Drive in seal as far as stop.
- Install flanged shaft.
- Check gear oil in final drive, refer to Checking/Filling Differential (Final Drive) Oil.
- Install driveshaft.
- Adjust driveshaft. Adjustments.
- Tighten the Flanged shaft to transmission to 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
