Fuel Consumption Correction Factor, Checking and Adjusting
CheckingNOTE: If a discrepancy of more than 5% exists between actual fuel consumption and consumption calculated by the computer, the consumption display can be adjusted within a range of ±15% by using the adjustment on the instrument cluster
- Switch ignition OFF.
- Press and hold RESET button.
- Switch ignition ON.
- Release RESET button.
- Press lower function selector switch and hold down.
Display shows current setting of fuel consumption correction factor
NOTE: The correction range lies between - 15% and + 15%. The plus sign is omitted when positive values are displayed.
Adjusting
- Remove instrument cluster but do not remove electrical connectors.
- Select appropriate correction factor with three sliding switches on right side of instrument cluster.
NOTE: Correction factor is set at 0% when all three sliding switches are OFF
- Set switches as shown for appropriate correction factor.
