Check/inspect for condition(s) described in this Bulletin when performing the Initial Delivery Inspection. When necessary perform corrective action(s) as outlined prior to delivering to the customer.

Condition:

Steering wheel off center or vehicle pulls to one side

Cause:

Alignment not optimized

Service:

Optimize the alignment of all 4 wheels to specifications

Note:

Before beginning alignment procedures, see section 44-20 (Notes for wheel aligning) in the Repair Manual Microfiche Suspension-Wheels, Group 40, 42, 44 for either Front Wheel Drive or Quattro (as applicable).
